SKILLS ASSESSMENT

Attendance is mandatory, except T-Ball, IF your player meets one or more of the following criteria:

Your player is a new player, or did not play in our League the previous year

Your player is eligible to play a higher division than previously played, and they want to move up

Your player is league age 6, has previously played one year of T-ball and they want to play up in

Rookie division - attend the Rookie Assessment

What to Wear:

Comfortable athletic clothes

Athletic shoes for the gym; may bring cleats if you have them (weather permitting we will go

outside to the field)

Cup – only for boys

What to Bring: (we will have extras on hand to borrow and/or try for sizing)

Glove - ensure your player has the correct size for division/age

10.5” - 11.25” Rookie/Minor 7-10 years and 11.25” - 12” Major 11+ years

Helmet

GEAR SWAP - To ensure all players have what they need, we keep a collection of shoes and gear on

hand and welcome donations of outgrown but still in good, clean condition equipment. Come look for

what you need!

REGISTRATION - There is still time to register! Online registration continues at

www.centralwhidbeylittleleague.com through FEBRUARY 28th. We will also have in person registration

help at the assessment. If registering in person, please be sure to bring a copy of your child’s birth

certificate and medical insurance information with you. Players must be registered to be able to

participate in the Assessments.
