Volunteer Information

Central Whidbey Little League is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers to run all league operations.

A $50.00 refundable volunteer fee will be added to each family's registration for the 2018 season. This fee will be refunded once your family completes a minimum of 4 hours of volunteer time. Families have numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the season:

  • Team Level: Manager, assistant coach, team parent, umpire, game or practice field prep
  • League Level: Board Member, Auction Committee, Family Fun Day Committee, maintenance of the complex
  • Special Event Level: Field Work Day, Family Fun Day, concession stand shift

Volunteer hours must be documented in a completed and signed CWLL Volunteer Hours Tracking Log, available under League Docs tab on our website. Refunds will be processed via check from our league treasurer and will be issued within 30 days of CWLL's receipt of the completed Tracking Log.

ALL VOLUNTEERS WITH CWLL MUST PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.
